Electric Patio Heaters
Fifty two electric heaters from Bromic Heating and Dimplex, from $589 to $5,873. These are the commercial grade units specified for restaurant terraces and covered patios, not seasonal freestanding heaters.
No gas line and no tank
An electric heater needs a circuit, not plumbing, which removes the single biggest install cost on most projects. There is no tank to swap, nothing to refill mid evening, and no combustion, so they can be used under a covered ceiling where a gas heater would need clearance and venting. That also makes them the practical option for balconies and apartments where gas is not permitted. Draw is published per model so an electrician can confirm the circuit before anything is mounted.
Mounting and placement
Most of the range is designed to be mounted rather than stood on the floor, on a wall or a ceiling, which keeps the heat where people are and the hardware out of the traffic path. Minimum mounting heights are published per model and matter: hang a unit too low and the heat is uncomfortable, too high and it dissipates before it reaches anyone. Coverage is rated in square feet per model. For an exposed patio, plan on more units at lower output rather than one large heater, because wind moves heat away from a single source faster than most people expect.
Built to stay outside
Bodies are stainless steel, which is the reason these survive coastal and freeze thaw conditions that kill cheaper heaters. Every unit carries the manufacturer factory warranty, valid because we are an authorized dealer. Output is listed in BTU on each product page alongside the electrical requirement, so you can size the installation properly instead of guessing. Free freight to the lower 48.
