Mounting is part of the specification

A commercial patio heater is not a plug and play object. Wall brackets, ceiling fixings, poles and recess kits are ordered alongside the heater rather than bundled with it, and the right one depends on where the heat needs to land. Minimum mounting heights are published per heater and are not advisory: too low is uncomfortable and unsafe, too high wastes the output. If you are specifying a recess or flush ceiling installation, that kit carries its own part number and needs to be on the order before the ceiling is closed up.

Controls and dimming

Several heaters accept external controls, including dimmers and remotes, which turn a fixed output heater into something you can run at a comfortable level rather than full or off. On a restaurant terrace that is the difference between a system staff actually use and one they leave switched off. Controls are model specific, so check compatibility on the product page rather than assuming a universal fit.

Covers protect heaters left mounted through winter, and replacement parts exist because these units are built to be serviced rather than replaced.
