Built for installation

These are grills intended to drop into a masonry island or a matching cart, with stainless steel construction throughout, which is what allows them to live outdoors permanently. Burner counts and BTU ratings are published per model. Several grills offer an infrared sear burner alongside the standard tubes for high heat work. Because the range is built around built-in installation, cutout dimensions are published for every grill and should be in your island drawings before any masonry is laid.

Burners and carts

Side burners handle sauces and sides at grill height; power burners produce enough heat for a stock pot, a wok or a fryer, which is work no grill can do. Carts convert a built-in grill into a freestanding unit, which is the sensible route if you are not ready to build or expect to move. Buying the grill and the cart from the same manufacturer keeps the finishes and proportions consistent, which is difficult to achieve mixing brands.

Fuel and warranty

Natural gas and propane are separate SKUs rather than a conversion, so confirm the fuel on the product page before ordering. Covers are included with several models. Every product carries the Summerset factory warranty, valid because we are an authorized dealer rather than a marketplace seller. Freight is free to the lower 48 and ships curbside on a pallet for the larger units, so arrange help for delivery day on anything island sized.
